Senior lineman Logan Johnson in a three point stance during the first game of the year against Millard West’s biggest rivals down the street, Millard South. In his final first game of high school football, Millard West lost against Millard South with a result of 28-27. “I wanted to strengthen my knee as much as I could,” Johnson said. “I wanted to come back as a better player than before, and focus on making what used to be my weakness my strength. I think the surgery made me closer to the game and love it a lot more.

With 7 seconds left in the fourth quarter, there was a field goal to be kicked, which occurred successfully, making the score 19-16. “I was super happy after our win against Omaha North,” Wyatt Goodlett said. “I worked really hard that game and felt proud of myself, especially since I played with a hurt shoulder.”
