Sophomore Olivia Gurley is at the Duchesne invite with a tee shot on hole 6. Gurley joined the gold team Freshman year but has been golfing for a part of her life, and she was able to make it to a varsity tournament as a sophomore. “The experience was amazing and well worth it, '' Gurley said. “This will be more of what I look forward to as I try to make Varsity next season.”

On Wednesdays, sophomore Madison Harvey practices to get better at her swing. She had a great time spending time with friends and getting better at golf. “Playing virtual golf helps a player to keep their swing consistent in the off season,” Harvey said. “You are less likely to forget your swing habits in your off time as well.”

Senior Hailey Reavis shot a 94 at the girls varsity golf A-1 District Tournament. “I did good, but I feel like I could improve my short game on the green,” Reavis said. “My chipping and putting hurt me in the end more than anything.”
