Michelle is a sophomore at Millard West and this is her first year on the Advanced Journalism staff. Her favorite parts of journalism are Feature stories and photography. Outside of journalism, Michelle likes to travel and hang out with friends and family.

Junior Erica Michel and another volunteer are working hard at building houses for the people in Erie, Pennsylvania. "Our residents started crying when they saw their house because they were so shocked that normal kids could come and do this," Micheal said. "They were so grateful they made us these nice memory boxes and thanked us several times."

Kindness over the summer

The students in the Wildcat Service club and The ACP students got together on a Monday morning to play a game of Jenga.
" It is very good for students in the club and the ACP students to get together to learn a lot about one another," Zohlen said. "The communication is good for both the club students and the ACP students. It is a lot of fun and we have a lot of laughs."

"Playing other teams from different states is really cool so I can see how everyone plays different." Nabulsi said. "it also helps me improve for every game."
