Just before a second attack on other paintings, two unnamed protesters threw tomato soup onto the “Sunflowers” by Van Gogh and kneeled in front of it, refusing to move. The two are part of the Just Stop Oil movement,  where members frequently vandalize art. They reason that "Art is part of our collective culture," adding, "We love our history and culture too much to just allow it all to be destroyed."
