Brady is a senior and this is his first year on staff for the CATalyst staff. He is involved with golf and Special Olympics here at Millard West. He enjoys playing sports, volunteering, and bonding with his friends. He also loves traveling to new places as well as trying new foods. Brady is excited to cover Millard West sports and learn more about the students here at Millard West.

Coming in for relief against Elkhorn South, senior pitcher Ben Sterbens looks to close the game out and earn a save. Sterbens has been put in this situation before and would not back down no matter the circumstance. ‘’Getting outs is my number one priority once I step on the mound,’’ Sterbens said. ‘’I trust my defense behind me so I do my best to make it easy on them whether that's a pop-up or a routine ground ball.’’

Scouting out in the parking lot, senior Nate Buroker prepares to eliminate his target in a sneaky manner. Buroker found out when his target had class which made it a perfect time to make his move. ''One of my teachers were able to give me the schedule of my target which helped me know when they would arrive and leave,'' Buroker said. ''The parking lot is an easy way to ruin somebodies day.''

With the Wildcats down nine at this point, Carson hits the dagger to cut the lead down to 6 before the break. ‘’I wanted to do as much as I could to help us before the half,’’ Carson said. ‘’I knew if I got this shot in, I would be able to walk into the second half with more confidence.’’

Freshman Cade Walker weaves his way through the lane to get an easy lay in. Walker would finish with seven points propelling the Cats to a win. ‘’Being a freshman on this team has put a lot of pressure on me, but playing my game has helped me relieve the nerves,’’ Walker said. ‘’This win felt good especially because it was on the road, so you could say we walked in their trap and set their trap.’’

The Wildcats needed all the points they could get after being down in their game against Lincoln East. ‘’Being efficient at the line is important for my game,’’ Gassen said. ‘’The points add up in the end and it’ll be important for us to be able to make these if we want to compete this year.’’

In the midst of shirt toss, senior Aedan Romero takes flight to launch a t-shirt into the crowd.  The crazies were the stars of the show during our Fall pep-rally, leading and getting the school ready for the Battle of Q-Street which took place just hours later. ''Honestly, I was a little nervous to see how everyone would react to this years crazies, but as we took the stage, everyone was super excited and it ended up being a lot of fun,'' Romero said. ''My one goal was to prep everybody for the game, and just simply get the energy going from the start.''
