Brand new NBA in season tournament supports players and teams

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, most sports were forced to play games with empty stadiums to keep all players, coaches and staff safe. The atmosphere from the time we came out of the tunnel was unlike anything any of us have felt, said New England Patriots cornerback Jason McCourty. “You cant really envision what an NFL game is like without fans. This felt more like a high school scrimmage.”

LeBron James dons a special “black mamba” jersey for the Los Angeles Lakers in game four against the Portland Trailblazers. The Lakers chose to wear these jerseys on 8/24, celebrated as Kobe Bryant’s Mamba Day. “We just try to go out there and play our best,” James said. “It’s always nice to do things like this to honor someone like Kobe.” The jersey also featured a “2” patch, honoring the late Gianna Bryant’s number.

During this episode, the two talked about their opinions on who they think are the all time best NBA players. “This was a very interesting podcast to shoot,” Evans said. “We had a great time debating who we thought were the greatest NBA players and also tested each other on various NBA player’s stats.”
