ACP students with their Scooter’s branded aprons and cups ready to deliver coffee to thirsty teachers. “It’s a part of a Daily Living class, and a Work Introduction Network class,” ACP teacher Nicole Schwalbach. “The coffee cart program is a vocational training program for students with disabilities that teaches them life skills that they could carry to a job.”

Preparing drinks during their morning rush, senior Kendal Lentz spends her mornings before class working at Scooters. Her time at Scooters has come with many memorable moments which she’s able to laugh about with her coworkers. “The most rewarding part is all the friends I got out of working there,” Lentz said. “All of us, especially the high schoolers, are close and we share lots of fun memories and inside jokes together.”

Made by Oeth herself, it provides information on what her friends and co-workers have worked together to contribute for. “Olivia has always cared about the environment,” senior donor Logan Berggren said. “She’ll always find ways to help it in anyway she can.”
