Olivia Oeth is a senior and new to the journalism team, but is excited to make new friends. She loves her job at Scooter's and hanging out with friends. Traveling is her favorite thing to do because she loves to learn about and immerse herself into different cultures. Olivia is involved in French Club, Knitting Club, Student Council and Justice and Diversity League.

On the top, the Poutine is topped with a plentiful amount of grilled seitan and green onions- an interesting twist for a well-known dish. The bottom shows the hotdog that proved to be a showstopper for all vegan food. Although not the exact taste of a real hotdog, the faux-dog was more savory than the real deal and made me feel like a kid on a hot summer dog again.

The pit feeling of dread and pensiveness crosses every about-to-be college student’s mind. Deciding whether or not higher education is their true calling is no easy task, and the bill only makes it harder. The ongoing financial struggle-- that tends to take up a decent portion of one’s life-- is hair-ripping and stressful as is. Tuition for numerous out-of-state public universities is far too high for non-residents and should be reconsidered for a lower price similar to that of a state resident.

With the internet in immediate reach, students can find the answers to their questions fast. However, studies involving college lectures allowed three classroom groups: those who could text about whatever they pleased during the lesson, those who were allowed to text if only about the lesson and a control group. The results, published in Computers in Human Behavior, the on-topic groups did 70 percent better than those will free reign.

Styles is drenched in custom made Gucci, a common appearance from the artist since he became a face for the brand in 2018. The cover, although simple, hints at the new era of Styles with blues and pinks to encapsulate the theme of the beauty that is within the cover.

Donation items were collected in the counseling office to be taken to the Project Wee Care facility to be distributed to local families in need. “This year, NHS donated spaghetti sauce, noodles, and hamburger/chicken helper as part of the overall donation drive,” Kosziek said. “Last year, Millard West as a whole donated over 1000 items to the Project Wee Care facility.”

I chose the fries for my side, but there were also options of potato salad and a house salad. The condiments included a sweet ketchup and an added ranch by request.

Millard West Band sweeps the Golden Regiment Invitational winning overall second place, one of the awards being the Outstanding Drum Majors. “I was pleasantly surprised when we placed second over this last week, it was a really tough competition,” Keith said. “We have goals and we met those. We what tell our students is that we’re really going against ourselves each week to be better than the band we were last week, and if we do that, good things will happen. They showed up this week, and their hard work paid off.”
