Key wins for Nebraska were over the Troy men’s basketball team and Vanderbilt. In the opening round against Troy Huskers with strong defense and balanced scoring secured success during the post season, and the game against Vanderbilt Nebraska controlled the game to win the program’s first NCAA tournament win. These are a major step forward in the program for the Huskers as the players are showing their level to compete at higher levels.
