Kelsey Nunnenkamp is a senior at Millard West and this is her first year on the CATalyst staff. Kelsey is the President of Senior Class Board and has been on Prowler staff for three years. In her free time she enjoys shopping, watching movies and trying new things. Next year, she plans on attending University of Nebraska Kearney with a major in multimedia journalism.

I personally dont use the app on my own phone so I just watch Instagram reels instead, Moseley said. Stacking dirty lunch trays, junior Carson Chesterman keeps the conveyor belt to the dish washing center running smoothly during second lunch. Stopping at the display outside the library, senior Ally Fortney observes the Black History wall created by the Justice and Diversity League. Throughout the month of January, the group of students did plenty of research to get as many prominent African American leaders on the wall as possible. “Even though this display has been up every year since my freshman year, this was really the first time I really took the time to read through it,” Fortney said. “I really wish more people did so because I know there is so much history and we don’t always have the time or resources to cover all of it during structured class time.”

The musical’s cast members gather around the auditorium’s center stage to begin their performance. After spending weeks preparing they were reading now more than ever for their moment of showtime. “This was a really exciting experience getting to be in front of a crowd again,” sophomore Mars Zekpa said. “Having past experience performing in front of large crowds made it not really scary or nerve-racking. I was really just focused on getting to show everyone what we worked so hard on.”
