Roy Avalos Jr. was in the Air Force for 10 years as a security policeman. He is now on the security team here at Millard West. “I was trained on how to secure and protect nuclear components,” Avalos said. “So the ground-based ICBM missiles, the ones loaded on aircraft and the ones on nuclear submarines, my job was to protect those.”
