Adopting families this season
For over 10 years now, Spanish teacher Candida Kraska has been helping out households in the Spanish-speaking community during the holiday season. Through the Salvation Army, Kraska adopts families each year so she can help provide Christmas gifts for the less fortunate. Caring for the community
In partnership with the Millard Business Association and Millard district students and staff, Project Wee Care contributes to aiding less fortunate families during the holiday season. Food, clothing and gifts are donated from around the metro to be sorted and packaged for distribution for a goal of 300 families and 1300 individuals. The holiday season is a time full of giving and helping those in need. Quality Time Holiday Child, a fundraiser the school has participated in for the past 25 years, is yet again starting up the week of November 18th.
