The Wildcats were down a man going into the game, and it forced them to adjust to changes. They started off slow, but once they got used to the adjustments, they were able to pick up speed. “Our biggest challenge was knowing that senior Evan Meyersick wasnt going to play.  We had to make sure guys knew our plays from different positions to fill in,” coach William Morrsion said.

The signing day is an important day for athletes to make their college decision official. “I signed with Wayne State College,” Coleman said. “Signing is important to me because growing up signing day was always my favorite event during a football offseason.”

Senior Dominic Humm leads the team to a 10 point victory against Millard South. Humm had 13 points including one three-pointer. Overall, it was a fun game, Humm said. It’s always a good feeling to go out and beat your rival team, especially twice in one year. The game started off a little rocky, but we took control of it in the second half and came out on top.

Hoffman had six points, as well as one assist throughout the game. “Ive been successful scoring the ball this season because my teammates are always able to find me when Im open, which allows me to get more shots up to score,” Hoffman said. “Ive also spent a lot of time outside of practice trying to perfect my shot to make it more accurate.”

Senior James Conway going up for a tough shot in the paint against Papillion La Vista South. Conway finished the night with 10 points and nine rebounds. “We were able to play at our pace for the majority of the game,” Conway said. “We kept the lead by staying cool and relaxed.”
