Former Millard West baseball player and current Nebraska freshman Max Anderson and senior Corbin Hawkins celebrate a home run hit by Anderson in a 6-3 win against Westside in the second round of the metro tournament. Millard West won this game, but ended up losing round 2 of the Metro tournament. “My favorite game was when we beat Westside at the end of the year,” head baseball coach Steve Frey said. “They were the most talented team we played this past summer and it was well pitched by Jaxson Cahoy and we played our most complete game of the summer.”

These kinds of masks are seen being worn daily by billions of people, and that number can quickly add up. Disposable masks are meant to help block large-particle droplets, splashes, sprays, or splatter that may contain germs. However, they dont filter or block very small particles in the air that may be transmitted by coughs and sneezes. As you can see from this photo, the edges of the mask are not designed to form a tight seal around the nose and mouth.
